Briefing
This is a project made for Young Lions Portugal in the design category. I partnered up with my friend João Amaral (AMRL) to create this concept. The briefing was gigantic, with a lot of technical details. We responded to every requirement, but we wanted something more significant than what they were looking for. The brief demanded to create a new pop-up store for shopping centers. We went further and reached an idea that was bigger than the briefing. Luckily we got Gold and went to Cannes Lions to represent Portugal in 2015.
Project
Minimall is a small shopping center designed to be implemented in shopping centers. Its 4 square meters adapts to various types of business, with solutions designed to expose different products. The identity of our stand takes us into space – an asteroid with a faceted shape, adaptable, which landed on the market, making a significant impact and bringing brands to the consumers' universe. The stand presents a minimalistic look designed to emphasize the displayed products. The whole minimall it's not shy with his innovative format. Makes it more attractive, giving more visibility to the brands. It was created from the deconstruction of a solid, sectioned, and carved until it has the format of an asteroid. It is painted with mirror colors to fit any environment, reflecting the implemented ambiance. The stand can be produced in three colors: black. White and gray. It can be completely closed in just three steps and still has complementary exhibitors to suit the needs of each brand and its products -clothing rack wheels, mirrors, and extra shelves. It's a perfect solution to stand out your brand from the crowd. Unfortunately, it's expensive to build. That's why no one ever makes it real.
